Chinese Fishing Net kerala DAY 01 : COCHIN

On arrival, our representative will meet and assist you with transfer to your Hotel. Later, you proceed for a Half Day City Tour with sightseeing that includes major city landmarks of Cochin viz. Jewish Synagogue constructed in 1568, which is the oldest synagogue in the Commonwealth and famed for its mid 18th century hand-painted willow-pattered floor tiles from China, ancient scripts on copper plates etc.

Other prominent highlights in Backwater Holidays to India include a visit to the "Dutch Palace" with its wonderful murals depicting the entire story of the Ramayana and Mahabharata on its walls; glimpses of the first European church built in India in 1503 by the Portugese - the St. Francis Church , the Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese Fishing Net.
